This week’s class will concentrate on skills needed to create and maintain your digital and hard copy files.

  3. The Photoshop Workspace (6)
  4. Photoshop Tools
  5. Spheres Exercise (4,5,6)

PROJECT ONE – Poster – due week 6 – (1,3,4,5,6)
Objective: Choose a topic about which you care deeply, and using an original image, a headline and a quote,  sway your audience to your view. Your image can be created using Photoshop and the various retouching, collage, and painting techniques learned during class.

  • Begin by choosing a topic and brainstorm approaches to editorial poster
  • Discussion (2)
  • Create thumbnails (3)
  • Overview of Photoshop
  • Making and Editing Selections
  • Basic Collage Techniques
